Who We Are

The purpose of this Organization shall be to promote the cause of Christian living and the precepts and philosophy of the Catholic Church among all people, regardless of race, creed, or color; receiving, holding and disbursing gifts, trusts, requests, and funds arising from any and all sources; and doing those things necessary or incident thereto.

Catholic High School Scholarships

The Ohio Charity Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce that, for the 2021-2022 school year, numerous $1,000 scholarships will once again be made available for Ohio Catholic students (grades nine through twelve) attending Catholic High Schools in Ohio.  This is the twenty-fifth consecutive year that the Knights of Columbus Scholarships have been awarded to our outstanding Catholic High School students.  More than $814,475 has been awarded during that period.

Men Putting Faith Into Action

We are men of faith, called to action. … Commanded to “Love thy neighbor as thyself,” our Catholic faith in God also compels us to action. There is no better way to experience love and compassion than by helping those in need – a call we answer every day.

Catholic Vocations

The Ohio Charity Foundation accepts donations to support Catholic Vocations in the Buckeye State.  Money raised is added to funds gathered through the Support Our Seminarians Campaign.  The funds support our seminarians and promote the pursuit of Catholic Vocations throughout the state.

Supporting Catholic Education

The Matching Funds Campaign combines the power of local Council fundraising with support from the Ohio Charity Foundation, Inc. to strengthen Catholic Education efforts in every Catholic school, in every religious program, and in every RCIA program of your diocese. All contributions from your council and participating councils from your diocese, as well as any amounts matched, go to the Religious Education Department of your Diocese.

OCSS Pooled Trust

The Ohio Catholic Social Services Endowed Pooled Trust was established by the Ohio Charity Foundation in 2010 by an initial grant made to the Pooled Trust for the benefit of the Mentally Challenged and Elderly Ohio Populations served by each Diocesan Catholic Social Services Agency which serve all such populations regardless of religious affiliation.
